OUR SERVICES
What we do:
We gather data during a field investigation and review raw evidence. Any activity that we can prove to be of a natural source or cause is basically our goal. If once all data has been reviewed and we can not find logical reasoning for our personal experiences or those of the client, we move forward in finding ways to help the client deal with what is occurring. We go in with the intention of discovering the source of the activity whether it be "paranormal" or not. Most often, we discover it to be very mundane sources and can educate the client and make them feel safe again. No matter the need, counseling and clergy can also be provided.
Team members use many forms of technology to help document claims of paranormal activity. We do not consider all forms as scientific methodology. We do perform experiments yet we make no claim of being scientists. We do not investigate within a controlled environment such as a lab. Many of the tools we use for paranormal investigations are used by researchers to test various hypothesis. Each of these tools are defined by its use and the theory behind what it is used for.
Hypothesis vs. Theory
A hypothesis is an attempt to explain the paranormal phenomena. It is a proposal, a guess used to explain why activity is happening.
A theory is the result of testing a hypothesis and developing an explanation that is taken to be true about the phenomena. A theory replaces the hypothesis. A person might make an observation and immediately form a hypothesis about why something happens the way it does. He or she then tests the hypothesis and eventually develops a theory.
A hypothesis can be right or wrong, but a theory is supposed to be true based upon the scientific method. When a hypothesis has been verified to be true, it becomes a theory.
